THE COSTA-GABRIEL EPISODE(Photos)

Diego Costa spoiled Chelsea's impressive display with that Kolcieny push. And ran out a lucky man not to have seen a red in the match. He is always lucky! I was not entirely  happy with Diego's attitude but then this is not the first time he is involved in a similar fight. I simply will put it as his nature but a very wrong nature.

He has been successful with such attitude. I just believe it is his own form of demon. We all got one.

Back in 2013 when he was an Atletico player he had a hostile confrontation with his current  team mate and captain- John Terry. Pictured bellow

Gabriel on the other hand acted very naive. I won't be so critical. I just want all the Arsenal fans to know that "red cards" and "fights" are all part of the game of football.

I will reinstate my view; and that is me strongly condemning the Diego Costa act.

Have a blessed week ahead. We now focus on the Capital one Cup in mid week. I wish everyone good luck in that.

A SECOND THREE POINTS (Photos).

The atmosphere at Stamford Bride looked very tense by half pastpast 12, with two big rivals about to take on one another. Immediately after kick off, the intensity in the atmosphere  soon transferred to the football pitch with the two teams putting on a very good display.
It was a very good and calm and very quick display from Chelsea in the opening  minutes of the game. I haven't seen Chelsea look that good since after the Opening day match against Swansea a little over a month ago. Chelsea looked very confident on the ball, giving very quick passes and making wonderful runs. I told myself- "the goal is coming for Chelsea". Arsenal's Gabriel  was shown a red after a controversial encounter with Chelsea's Diego Costa right before the break. This event quickly materialized when Zouma scored for Chelsea to make it a goal ahead for the host right after half time.
Chelsea  later ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in the expense of 9-men Arsenal.

I didn't like the idea of ivanovic starting at right back until the match began. Branislav looked more of himself in a Chelsea shirt in today's encounter against arsenal. He quite played decently today. A good sign for a long run.

Hazard is another man who is not far behind when it comes to performances. Eden looked like one who have been waiting for this particular match to show the world that he is still the best in the country. Eden hazard was more of himself out there today. I wasn't surprised though, the quality is there, just a little confident booster and he is under the right man to give him the boost- Jose Mourinho. Even after missing  a penalty in the champions league earlier in the week, the manager was still full of praise for the talented winger. That is exactly what you need as players.

Another player who had an interesting afternoon is the man who always brings an extra vibe to the team- Oscar. Pedro also had a descent afternoon. Fabregas looked more of himself too. The team was superb generally in an impressive win. Even the inactive  Begovic won't be left out, though no much testing, he was excellent.

I am personally trilled by this win and most importantly the clean sheet. That is a boost of confidence for the back five( the back four and the goal keeper).

That will be my take on the eventful Chelsea v Arsenal derby match.

Jealousy. A Dangerous Tool In Matrimony.

Marriage is a special gift from the creator. Marriage is
filled with blissful benefits. Marriage encompasses Love,
Trust, Care, Provision and Protection. The "I"
automatically changes to "We" the moment those vows are
taken in front of the creator to symbolize unity and
oneness. Marriage understands only one language and
that is ONENESS. Troubles will come, misunderstandings
will surface at a time, appreciate them. They are better
tools for understanding your partners. The storms will
sure get quiet and you will sail in all graciousness. The
most significant of all the gifts in marriage given to man
by God is SEX. Sex is a powerful tool for oneness. Sex
connects the mind and soul, it brings the body, mind and
soul of each partner together to become one and act as
one.

Every human being created by God is destined for a purpose.
Most times, in fact, naturally some destinies are bigger,
much bigger than others. Jealousy, envy and greed are a
few of many problems that breaks marriages. Persons who
allow all these evil tools come in between a God ordained
union are persons who are 100% ignorant that every man is
created for a different purpose in life. The success of your
wife or that of your husband should not in a bit stair any
form of jealousy in you. You are one. Just like I said
earlier, the moment each of you recite those two little
words- "I Do" then the "I" changes to "We". So you are
both successful even if one of you is in the driving seat of
the success.
I will conclude with a self initiated equation to help explain
all I have talked about.
Love + Communication + Commitment - Jealousy - Envy -
Greed = A Marriage Built On Rock!

THE MAJOR CAUSE OF FAILURE IN CLASS ROOMS.

An Igbo proverb tells us that a man who does not know where the rain began to beat him cannot say where he dried his body. (Adopted from, Sir Chinua Achebe’s “There Was A Country”)

The rain that is currently beating students began immediately social network was introduced. By ‘rain’ in this context I mean ‘failure’. I have been thinking about writing this for a long time now but I decided to hold my peace, before the Nigerian acronym for I.T.K. (I Too Know) will be directed to me. But with all the happenings around, I guess it is really time to come out plane with my own view of why we (students) fail so much in exams.

Taking a look at the statistics of JAMB 2013: 1,644,110 candidates sat for the exams; with Just 10 students scoring 300 and above. And ‘we’ call these students ‘magical students’, ‘extraordinary students’-RUBBISH! We are all magical and extraordinary we just need to put the pedal on the metal and step on the gas-we just need to read our books! Same year 127, 017 students scored less than 159. Simply POOR!

The major reason I picked up my pen and went up to my note pad is simply because I failed my first semester exams in the department of Remedial Sciences UNIJOS, class of 2013 and many result were just like mine and even more worst than my very own. I really wanted to slow down on writing this but when I walked up to the Math 101 result of 100L students in UNIJOS the same year, I was like : “wow, this is universal”; it was not a result to definitely be proud of.
Students instead of doing Calculus, we are busy calculating the number of friends we have on facebook, 2go, whats app and the number of followers on instagram, twitter. Just to name a few. Social network have really done us a great harm. Just some weeks back our English lecturer gave us some work, to write an essay on: SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY: THE IMPLICATION TO HUMAN LIFE. Looking at the above topic it simply asks to label out the merits and demerits of science and technology. In my own work I was really tempted not to add the advantages because science and technology has somewhat done us more harm than good.

And these inventors of social networks tend not to even notice this, they are busy updating and upgrading their networks, not their fault though, that is what they live by, they earn through us and they do it coded-ly. Even the phone makers are really doing very nice jobs; making bigger phones. I do use one. From Blackberry down to Androids to iPhones, you name them. But, seriously we are not helping our selves in anyway.

Concluding, I will want to beg every student who reads this including me, myself and I to put more of our time into our academic works. Social network is definitely not the way forward. Reading our books is!

The Sin Of Bruce Jenner-Now Caitlyn Jenner.

When I first started hearing about the so called transition by Ms Jenner, I really thought it was a joke. A real joke. I have never thought for one minute that a human being created by God Almighty will have the nerves to change his/her skin, hormones, hair...the list goes on. This is very wrong. I don't see any kind of fun in this or is it a form of adventure? The vices in this world is just too much.
See some photos after the cut.

Bruce...well, now Caitlyn, is now a woman. The former Olympics Gold medalist of 1976 underwent a gender transition which actually now makes him...well her, a being with the composition of a female hormonal system. The 65-year-old said her dying days would have being meaningless if she hadn't done what she did. Funny how a full grown old man is suddenly a "She". Na wao!

The First Lady. The Problem Of Mr. President.

"Stone any one who says CHANGE!" Just to make it readable. The supposed first lady of the country didn't speak as well as the sentence in quote. This is a complete wake up call on violence. She said her renewed name is "mama peace" is this how peace is been demonstrated? Sometimes I ask myself: is this woman the first First lady of this country? When that phrase "First Lady" crosses my mind I imediately drift my thought to the likes of the Late Stella Obasanjo, Maryam Babangida..etc. Can't this woman take examples from this group of women?

I urge you to take your time and listen to the wife of the presidential candidate for the All Progressive Congress, Aisha Buhari. I am a states man. Who wants the betterment of my dear beloved country, Nigeria. I am not pointing my fingers against the ruling party, the PDP. Neither am I showering the opposition, the APC with all the praise in this world. I am not guaranteeing the complete success of the opposition when they go into power but for all that it is worth, I think, completely, this country needs CHANGE! And I mean total change. Let me not do to much digression. Now. Back to the First Lady, I am even ashamed to call her my first lady. How will you go to the north, soliciting for their support and you are insulting them...I call it insult because that is what it exactly is. We won't make a shy out of it. Saying: "...he has opened 125 amajeri schools..heiii...what else, what else are you looking for?" I am not condemning the act by the amejeri people but we all know that this group of Nigeria faithfuls go out to beg for food with there bowls...are you encouraging begging or you are supposed to be feeding the poor masses?
I will want to round up with one last statement of hers: "...are you conductors that do ask for Change?" Well I find that rather amusing...well to correct her...the conductors don't ask for Change, the passengers do the change asking. And for the records we the passengers gave her husband Mr. President our money(votes) in 2011, now we are asking for our CHANGE!
Sorry, did I just say "one last statement"? Of course not. This woman called the General. "brain dead" Chai! There is god oooo. A First Lady? Involved in this kind statement about a man who is far much as credible as her own husband!
We definitely don't need this kind of FL! For all its worth.

Thank you for reading. God Bless you. And God bless Nigeria.

Photos: See what a fan said to Rihanna About The Deadly Ebola!

Just a moment ago the Hollywood queen of pop had the above picture with the caption '#bored'.

A fan replied this saying: @rihanna my love for you is like Ebola, unstoppable and deadly.

Wow! Now that is deep. We joke with so many things but not the deadly 'Ebola'. But maybe this fan really feels this way.

Nigeria polarised by an unthinking government, says Buhari

Nigeria’s former military ruler,Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday put fightinginsecurity and corruption at the top of his bid tobecome president, as he formally launched his
campaign for leadership.

The 71-year-old announced that he was standing
for the presidential ticket of the main opposition
All Progressives Congress (APC), which he said
was “resolved to bring change to Nigeria”.

“Protection of lives and property” was at the heart
of the party’s agenda, as Boko Haram Islamists,
marauding gangs, armed robbers and kidnappers
had left communities living in fear, he said.

He also hit out at the ruling Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) of President Goodluck Jonathan,
which has never been out of power since Nigeria
returned to civilian rule 15 years ago.

“Since 1999, (the) PDP has presided over our
country’s decline. Nigeria, in my experience, has
never been so divided, so polarised by an
unthinking government hell-bent on ruling and
stealing,” he said.

Corruption had become “blatant and widespread”
while the country had earned the unenviable
reputation worldwide as “the home of corruption”,
he added.

The former army general vowed to improve the
performance of Africa’s biggest economy, whose
over-reliance on oil and gas has blighted other
sectors such as manufacturing and agriculture.

Buhari, who came to power in a 1983 military
coup, ruled Nigeria with an iron fist and was
criticised for rights abuses but is credited for his
government’s apparent crackdown on corruption.

He was ousted in another coup in 1985.
The APC will pick its presidential candidate for
the February 14, 2015 vote in December.
